''In March 2011 the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant was struck by a devastating earthquake and tsunami. Three reactors went into meltdown and a maximum, level 7 nuclear disaster was declared, putting it on a par with Chernobyl. Since then the Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) has been managing the crisis but has been accused of making a series of mistakes and attempting to cover up just how bad the disaster really is. 

Recent admissions about large and potentially disastrous leaks have shed light on how dire the situation really is at Fukushima. Truthloader decided to have a look at some of the alleged cock-ups and cover-ups Tepco have made along the way.''

My views

This was the video description, and it very well sums up the current events over in Fukushima.  Tepco originally had thought that the radiation was at 100 millisieverts, but their equipment was only capable recording a maximum reading of 100 millisieverts. The actual radioactive level? 1800 millisieverts. 18 times more than originally recorded. That kind of radioactivity can kill within seconds, and thousands of gallons of water that have that kind of radioactivity are leaking into the Pacific. This water was used to cool the reactors to stop a meltdown, so Tepco knew about this problem, but decided to turn a blind eye at the World's expense.

US and UK successfully cracked encryption

Snowden yet again has revealed ways that the US and UK have access to our data but now they are not recording emails or phone calls but actually breaking into securely encrypted data.

He properly said that "some internet companies provided the agencies backdoor access to their security systems", this cost the NSA around $250m (£160). Its code name is Bullrun after the battle known as First Manassas, according to the documents published by the guardian with co-operation from New York Times and ProPublica. Whereas its equal in Britain is called Edgehill, adter the first battle of the English civil war.

They broke encryption used to store emails, banking and medical records of hundreds of millions of people safely to prevent third party groups from accessing this fragile information. The main focus of the operation was to break the encryption in 4G smartphones, email, online shopping and remote business communication networks. These methods are mostly used by internet services such as Google, Facebook and Yahoo.

The NSA was so dedicated to breaking this encryption they had supercomputers built for this single purpose just to break in and get hold of our private information. Other methods reported by the New York Times reports used were "technical trickery, court orders and behind-the-scenes persuasion to undermine the major tools protecting the privacy of everyday communications".

Opinion Time:
So Snowden has come out of his shell yet again to deliver the truth which is the purpose of this very blog. For me it is horrifying that even encryption is not a warning sign for the government that people do not want this information to be read by anyone out of their knowledge but now an uncrackable code has been invented called quantum cryptography and is now being implemented on a large scale to make it available for many people to use this method.

Samsung SmartWatch

On the 5th September 2013 Samsung unveiled their new SmartWatch,

The device is a 1.6in touchscreen mounted in a wristwatch like strap. It runs on the android operating system allowing the user to have a hands free call, use apps alongside with fitness trackers, check mail/text and track their activities.  It has an in-built camera allowing for taking pictures but sadly not video chats.

Many of us expected a sleek flexible-screened accessory, but their eagerness to beat its rivals Apple, Microsoft and Google met they rushed it and came up with this device.
 Its battery life is estimated to be a day with "regular use" but those who use more will have to charge it more. It has the same technology as many new smartphones where it uses a colour LED screen, saving power by turning off when not in use.

The chipmaker Qualcomm is advertising another watch  with the same principal, the Toq, which features a brand new screen, the Mirasol. It works on the same principal as the kindle E-ink but is in colour, The main difference between Samsung's watch and the Toq is that the Toq's screen is always on and has a longer battery life of 3-5 days making it a worthy opponent.

There is a hitch though when you buy it. Samsung made it so many of the watch's functions are limited to only working when it is linked to some of its newer Android mobiles this limits its capabilities of being a standalone device.

Opinion Time:
The pro's: from what I know this is the first device of its type meaning there will be a lot of interest surrounding the product and we will expect a worthy opponent to arise.

The Cons: For me it feels they have rushed it and making it be in the shadow of the new Galaxy S4, in my opinion they should of waited  around 6 months to a year for the hype of the S4 to die down and refresh the interest in the handset.

Hello and thank you for checking out this blog,

I recently posted a video responding to a channel answering their question about under what conditions you would trust the government (here it is above the text) and, the viewers gave great feedback saying I could be a columnist for them and the things I said were more intelligent than you would get from an adult.

This inspired me to make this blog to try and achieve that goal of being a columnist delivering fresh stories and my opinion about their context hence the name True Stories with Real Opinions. in particular one comment said in the future I would "teach the world that humanity is above all our true wealth not oil or power".

So thank you for reading my first post and expect new stories and opinions.
